Growth Mindset

When it comes to a fix mindset and growth mindset I find myself in the middle of both because it all differs on the situation and whether or not I want to continue to grow in the particular situation or thing that I'm learning. For example when it comes to work I have a growth mindset I'm always looking to improve my working skills. But if you really think about it people always all people want to improve their work because you make money off of it and it keeps you having a job so it's something that you want to do good. When it comes to things at home there's nothing really to grow on because everything at your house should be a certain way unless you change it but for the sake of this a blog  when you do chores you know how those things should be done so it's kind of like your mind is kind of fixed in a way because you don't really need to grow and learn how to do chores because you should already know how to do them. Introduction to Me

Hello my name is Alesha Daniels and my long-term career goal is to become an English teacher and teach in South Korea. I want to teach in South Korea because I think that it could be a new adventure for me and somewhere abroad away from the US. I love the Korean culture , the language , the food , and the music . Before that I have to complete my 60 credits at LMC Community College and then I plan on transferring to UC Berkeley and completing 30 credits there so that I can graduate and get my English degree. In the course of doing that I plan on volunteering at different schools and maybe become a substitute teacher at the same time after I get my AA because when applying for English teaching jobs in Korea the more experience you have the closer you will be put towards the cities and the better job opportunities you will get. You may be asking why South Korea but like I put up above the language, food, and the music is what really pulled me in. The Korean language has an alphabet like ...

Favorite Place

My favorite place overall would have to be South Korea . No I've never been to South Korea but I always wanted to go visit there because in the future that's where I plan on living and working. I always knew that I wanted to be an English major and become an English teacher but I always wanted to teach outside of an English speaking country. I thought it would be fun to teach other people English and literature. As a kid growing up I always knew that I didn't want to live in America for the rest of my life I wanted to travel and live somewhere abroad. First I always thought that I would live in a Hispanic country because Spanish was the second language I was exposed to so I thought to myself “why not learn Spanish?”. However when I entered Elementary School I met this young girl named Jenny Zhu  she was Chinese and we became best friends. So soon after you could probably guess I wanted to learn Chinese so before I entered High School I studied a little bit of Chinese so th...
